Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
