Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 when, with iron collars and chains around their necks, they are dragged 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then it will be said unto them: where are those whom ye have been associating? 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna, to dwell therein forever.' How evil is the lodging of those that are proud! 76 Therefore have patience, the Promise of Allah is true. Whether We show you something of that We promise them or call you to Us, to Us they shall all return. 77 Before your time We sent other messengers: of them there are some whose story We have related to you, and some whose story We have not related to you. It was not [possible] for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of God: but when the command of God was issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice. There and then, those who stood on falsehoods perished. 78
