Did you not see those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah? Where are they being diverted? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71 into boiling water, then, into the Fire they shall be poured. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 “As rivals to Allah?”; they will say, “We have lost them – in fact we never used to worship anything before!”; this is how Allah sends the disbelievers astray. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78
