It is God who made the cattle for you so that some you ride and some you eat. 79 And in them are numerous benefits for you, and for you to reach your hearts’ desires while riding them – and you ride upon them and upon the ships. 80 He shows His signs. How many of God's signs will you then deny? 81 Have they not travelled in the land to see the fate of those who went before them? They were more numerous and mightier and left greater traces of their power on the earth; yet all that they accomplished was of no avail to them. 82 For when their messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they exulted in such knowledge (and skill) as they had; but that very (Wrath) at which they were wont to scoff hemmed them in. 83 but when they saw Our punishment, they said, "We believe in God, the One God, and we reject the partners we used to associate with Him," 84 But their belief when they saw Our might did not profit them -- the wont of God, as in the past, touching His servants; then the unbelievers shall be lost. 85
