and We saved the Children of Israel from a humiliating punishment 30 From Fir'awn; verily he was haughty and of the extravagant. 31 And We knowingly chose them, among all others of their time. 32 and sent them revelations of which some were a clear trial for them. 33 Even then they say: 34 "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected. 35 “Therefore bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful!” 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 We did not idly create the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them; 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Surely the Day of Decision shall be their appointed time, all together, 40 The day on which, no friends will benefit each other at all, nor will they be helped. (Except those who are pious – see verse 43:67) 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
