And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment, 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 And assuredly We elected them with knowledge above the worlds. 32 And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial 33 Yet these say: 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). 37 We did not idly create the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them; 38 We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Indeed the Day of Decision is the appointment for all of them. 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 42
