And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 (We delivered them) from Pharaoh. Lo! he was a tyrant of the wanton ones. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial. 33 Yet these say: 34 "There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected. 35 So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. 36 Are these better or the people of Tubba and those who went before them? We destroyed them for they were a criminal people. 37 We did not idly create the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them; 38 We created them with definite purpose; but most of them do not understand. 39 Surely the day of separation is their appointed term, of all of them 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42
