Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, [in the life to come] the tree of deadly fruit 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 As does boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
