Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
