The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
