Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
