Indeed, the tree of zaqqum 43 Will be the food of the sinners, 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 like boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 In gardens and springs; 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
