Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
