Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
