Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha-Mim. 1 This Scripture is sent down from God, the Mighty and Wise One. 2 Most surely in the heavens and the earth there are signs for the believers. 3 And in your (own) creation and in what He spreads abroad of animals there are signs for a people that are sure; 4 and in the alternation of night and day, and the provision God sends down from heaven, and therewith revives the earth after it is dead, and the turning about of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand. 5 These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? 6 Woe unto every liar, sinner! 7 Who heareth the revelations of Allah rehearsed unto him, and yet persisteth with stiff-neckedness as though he heard them not. Announce thou unto him, then, a torment afflictive. 8 for when he does become aware of any of Our messages, he makes them a target of his mockery! For all such there is shameful suffering in store. 9 In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
