Deem those in whose hearts is a disease that Allah will never bring to light their secret malevolence? 29 Had We willed, We could have shown them to you, and you should have known them by their marks, but surely, you will know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all your deeds. 30 We shall certainly test you until We know those of you who truly strive and remain steadfast, and will ascertain about you. 31 Lo! those who disbelieve and turn from the way of Allah and oppose the messenger after the guidance hath been manifested unto them, they hurt Allah not a jot, and He will make their actions fruitless. 32 O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and render not vain your deeds. 33 ۞ Lo! those who disbelieve and turn from the way of Allah and then die disbelievers, Allah surely will not pardon them. 34 Therefore do not relax, nor call towards truce by yourself; and it is you who will dominate; and Allah is with you, and He will never cause a loss in your deeds. 35 Verily the life of this world is no more than a sport and frivolity. If you believe and fear God, he will give you your reward, and will not ask for your possessions. 36 If He were to ask you for your possessions and press you (in that regard), you would have grown niggardly, and Allah would have brought your failings to light. 37 Behold! You are those who are called upon to spend for God's cause, but among you are those who are niggardly, and whoever stints does so against his own self. Indeed, God is self-sufficient, but you stand in need [of Him], and if you turn back, He will bring in your place another people, who will not be like you. 38
