Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
