Q (Qaaf)
45 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat) before The Town (Al-Balad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 So did they not see the sky above them how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
