Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
