Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
