He created man and surely know what misdoubts arise in their hearts; for We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He does not utter a single word, without a ready recorder seated next to him. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 who hinders good, exceeds the limits, is immersed in doubts, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me – I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
