And assuredly We have created man and We know whatsoever his soul whispereth unto him, and We are nigher unto him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me – I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
