And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 [Whereupon God will command:] "Cast, cast into hell every [such] stubborn enemy of the truth, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
