Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 and the partitioners, 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 surely you are at variance (about the Hereafter); 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
