Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 I swear by the heaven full of ways. 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 It will be the Day when they are tormented at the Fire. 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 receiving their reward from their Lord. They had been righteous people before the Day of Judgment. 16 They slept very little during the night 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23
