And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
