We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
