So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 say [to them], "Wait then: I too am waiting along with you!" -- 31 Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly. 34 Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Or do they have knowledge of the Unknown which they write down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or have they an ilah (a god) other than Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partners (to Him) 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 So leave them alone till they meet their Day, in which they will sink into a fainting (with horror). 45 when their stratagem shall be of no avail to them, nor shall they be succoured. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. 49
