(Muhammad), remind them, by the Grace of your Lord, that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person. 29 Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time? 30 Tell them: “Wait; I too am waiting with you.” 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith. 33 Let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim. 34 Were they created out of nothing, or are they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Do they have a ladder (by which they can climb up to the heavens) and listen (to the angels) and come back to the rest of the people with clear authority? 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 (So obstinate are they that) even if they were to see some fragments of the sky falling down they would still say: “It is only a mass of cloud.” 44 Wherefore let them alone, till they meet their Day whereon they shall swoon. 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 The unjust will suffer other torments besides this but most of them do not know. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
