Prostration
< random >
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
