Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
