Prostration

Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
