Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
