So did you observe him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
