Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
