The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 in the seat of truth with an all-powerful sovereign. 55
