Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
