And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
