The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
