And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
