And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
