The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 Bestowed the Qur'an, 2 He created the human being 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 And the stars and trees prostrate. 6 And the heaven, He raised it high, and He made the balance 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 Always measure with justice and do not give short measure. 9 He positioned the earth for all the creatures: 10 Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). 11 and grain growing tall on its stalks, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 13 He has created man out of sounding clay, like pottery, 14 And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 From both of them emerge pearl and coral. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25
