Everyone on it must pass away. 26 only the Person of your Lord, full of majesty and splendour, will endure. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men! If you have the power to go beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them: you cannot pass out but with [Our] authority. 33 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 34 (If you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke shall be lashed at you, which you shall be unable to withstand. 35 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 36 And when the heaven is rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide. 37 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 38 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. 39 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 42 This is the hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 45
