Everyone that is thereon will pass away; 26 But abiding is the glory of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 Everyone in the heavens and on the earth entreats Him. Every day He manifests Himself in a new state. 29 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 30 We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns and men)! 31 (We shall then see), which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke, and you will be left without succour! 35 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 36 Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide. 37 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 38 For, on that Day, neither man nor jinn will be questioned about his sins. 39 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 40 The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 42 This is Hell the sinners called a lie. 43 They will go round and around between it and boiling water. 44 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 45
