Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that is on the earth is passing, 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 All that are in the heavens and the earth entreat Him. Every day He exerciseth (universal) power. 29 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 30 We will attend to you, O prominent beings. 31 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to protect yourselves. 35 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 38 Of his sin will be questioned that Day neither man nor jinn. 39 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 40 The guilty shall be recognized by their marks, so they shall be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 42 This is Gehenna (Hell) which the sinners belied, 43 They will go round between its flames and boiling water. 44 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 45
