All that is on the earth is doomed to perish, 26 And there will endure for ever the person of your Lord, the Lord of glory and honor. 27 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 28 Of Him beggeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth; every day He is in a new affair. 29 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 (We shall then see), which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 32 Jinn and mankind, if you can penetrate the diameters of the heavens and the earth, do so, but you cannot do so without power and authority. 33 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten copper shall be loosed against you, and you shall not be helped. 35 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 38 Neither man nor jinn will be questioned on that day about his sin. 39 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 40 The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied. 43 between it and [their own] burning-hot despair will they wander to and fro! 44 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 45
