And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. 55 Those who are infidels will surely receive severe punishment both in this world and the next; and none will they have to help (or save) them. 56 And as for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) and do righteous good deeds, Allah will pay them their reward in full. And Allah does not like the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 57 (Muhammad), what we recite to you are revelations and words of wisdom. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 (This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver. 60 And if anyone should argue with you about this [truth] after the knowledge you have received, say to them, "Come! Let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray earnestly and invoke the curse of God upon the liars. 61 This is the true story. There is no God but Allah, and assuredly Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. 62 But if they turn away, then Allah is Knower of the corrupters. 63
