Lo! God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ. 55 As for those who disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers. 56 But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. 57 "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." 58 Jesus in the sight of God is like Adam. He created him from dust; then said to him, "Be!" and he was. 59 (This is) the truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver. 60 Therefore say to those who dispute with you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Eisa after the knowledge has come to you, “Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves – then pray humbly, thereby casting the curse of Allah upon the liars!” (The Christians did not accept this challenge.) 61 And this verily is the true account. There is no god but God, and God is all-mighty and all-wise. 62 But if they turn back, Allah hath full knowledge of those who do mischief. 63
