Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
