Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Dark-green. 64 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful - 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
